so i’ve had my first holes done for 3 years now and 2 weeks ago i took them out and within an hour they grew up to i pushed them back thru. now they r itchy raw and crusty on the lobe but the inside of the piercing is normal. does anyone know what this is or how to treat it? i would really appreciate the help. thanks

Your piercing are VERY fast healers, refrain from leaving your piercings out long at all, just clean them with sea salt and warm water twice a day for the next few weeks they should be fine

Wash the piercing twice a day with saline soultion and it should be fine.

On Friday or Saturday Im Gona get my lip pierced , what should I be prepared for ? N should I get a stud or a half hoop? What side should I get it on ? I don’t have bangs or anything , so yea , what should I eat and not eat?

Its best to get a stud until the piercing heals, doesn’t move around as much as a hoop.
You should get it in the middle, because symmetry looks infinitely better than asymmetry.

Don’t eat spicy foods for a few days (not that you’ll want to haha!), and don’t drink or smoke.
Other than that, you can pretty much eat anything you feel like. You may not want to chew that much, depending on how much you swell.

Stretching is a time consuming process, you should’ve thought about this ahead of time.

Wait a month, trust me. Sizing up without giving the scar tissue in your lobe time to heal will lead to a nasty infection, or even a blowout. These could give you major trouble trying to size up in the future. Waiting a month with tapers in that you don’t like is a small price to pay for nice, healthy lobes.

I’d wait a couple of weeks at least. I know from personal experience that stretching too quickly can lead no a nasty infection. It’s not worth the risk!

I’m 12 and I am going to get my ears pierced this weekend. I am really excited because in a month or so I get to wear cute earrings like my friends do! But I am also scared a little. I am going to claires to get mine done. I am just nervous a little because I hate pain. Is it painful and what do they do?

You should be excited! its cool! it is painful, but for a couple of seconds then your ear just feels hot for like 30 mins . Just remember, its sooo worth it!! One tip though, dont wear heavy or dangley earrings until at least a month after and remember to clean your ears whilst the earrings are in there and to twist them gently, regularly. You choose your colour and design and then they put them into a earring gun and usually count then just do it! And before you know it, it’s all over! When i got mine done, i was like… "Is that IT?!" All that worrying! for nothing! But no, it is natural to feel a little scared but its not as scary as it seems!

If I were you i would not be scared at all. Don’t be terrified of what they’re going to do to you, and let that ruin the experience. When you go there they will immobilize your ear and it will be painless, you won’t feel a thing. Your ear will be numb in order for this to happen. Just think about how much fun you’ll have being able to pick out all sorts of cute designs to wear on your ears just like everyone else!! They just poke a hole through each ear, but not after they make sure your ear is totally senseless, i promise. Don’t sweat it, it’s no big deal. its really easy and feels like a strong pinch on your ear. it doesnt really hurt for me and ive had it done 2 times. they mark your ear so they know where to aim then dab your ear with like aniseptic or something like that. then you choose the earring the person puts it in this thing that looks like a water gun and put it through your ear it really does only hurt a little. i had mine done at claires too and i remember feeling this way when i got mine pierced. its ok really.

there has been reports of hepatitis from getting piercings at the mall with poorly cleaned piercing guns. save yourself some pain and infection and go to a tattoo parlor to get them done.

I have some pretty severe scars on my back, and one on my chest. i honestly love tongue and dimple piercings i might get my tongue pierced when im 15 and i luv them c: but honestly i think u would look good if u took out the monroe and leave the lip but replace with a ring and pierce ur tongue pierced but i still dont think u hav the face for piercings i think u would look bad with dimple piercings i still think u kinda look bad with the piercings u have =( srry i say u would look good with only a tongue piercing and thats it.

i always wanted dimple piercings too, until i did some research on them… they scar really really bad and leave indentations in your cheeks that dont go away, ever. if you everdecide to take them out, they will leave horrible scars. i would advise against them. there are lotsof other things you could get, like bridge, eyebrow, or some other lip piercing.

also, you may want to get a shorter labret stud for your monroe so it doesnt mess up your teeth

Peircings are terible unless there on ur ears or belly button, i know ur girlfriends will say "o you look so hot and beautiful", its total bullshit, every single guy i know in highschool and some in university say its a turn off…I know i younger than you, but still 100/100 guys says its ugly, especially around your mouth

Totally honest, I know a few people that have dimple piercings and only one of them actually looks good them and its because she already had dimples and chubby cheeks. I think they may look awkward on your face because your cheeks are slim.

I’m on my phone so I can’t look at your photos. But this is my opinion. Any piercing can look good on anyone who wears it with confidence and the right jewelry. I love cheek piercings I’ve had them myself. The only problem is, theyre a pain. They take a long long time to heal or may not ever heal. This is because your cheeks move everytime you talk. You have to baby them. Also you’ll look like a chipmunk for awhile xD. If you are ready to be dedicated to babying them for awhile & looking like a chipmunk go ahead! I suggest looking into PTFE jewelry for healing. Its flexible so it will make healing easier. Its also medical grade plastic so it can be worn during healing. Good luck & I hope I helped!

I’m almost 13 and I dont shave my legs. I dont think my mom would mind but im afraid to ask because I dont have a very good relationship with her and she acts weird about things like this. So should i shave behind her back or should i ask her and if so how? How did you guys first ask your parents!!!

I started shaving when I was about 10 or 11. I asked my mother, and she was a bit like the way your mom sounds, kind of weird about these things, but I convinced her to let me start shaving because I was personally quite self-conscious about the hair on my legs! There is no harm in asking (: But, if you do choose to start shaving yourself using her razor or something, you just shave from your ankle up to your knee, going against the hair. You could shave your thighs if you like, but the hair is not as dark there.

i was in the 4th grade i think, i used my moms rasor in the shower on just a spot to see how it worked and my skin was really smooth so i asked my mom if i could start shaving that night after i got out of the shower and she showed me how and stuff and that was that. i had dark leg hairs because i am spanish, but i think if you dont have that problem you should wait till you’re a bit older than what i was.

Im 14 now and I wanted to in 5th grade, but it was a no. So then when I got into 6th grade my mom finally said yes. Basically just ask her and if it is a no, ask why. If you use a razor, tell her you will be extra careful. If its still a no, act to get an electric one where you can cut yourself and you dont have to keep buying razors. Dont go behind her back, because she’s gonna find out ( She lives with you.. lol! )
